Who We Are

The founders of Genesis are local metro Atlanta Firefighters/Paramedics who have a history working in fire houses, emergency rooms, and are military veterans.

The owners have a service first axiom. Genesis Home Care agency is an in-home personal assistance agency that provides non-medical services. Genesis Home Care provides a variety of in home assistance that allows for individuals to remain in the comfort and safety of their homes. Genesis Home Care also provides service to nursing and senior retirement homes, rehab, and assisted living facilities and all other health facilities in the State of Georgia.

The vision of Genesis Home Care, LLC. came together while James and Brian were working together inside the same fire house, where they witnessed first-hand, multiple gaps in our health care system; noticed citizens in need of varying degrees of assistance; and witnessing and participating in the re-admittance of recently released patients back into the hospital. We want to help fill in the gaps; provide assistance, care, and comfort. Reduce familial stress, high cost, and bring hospital re-admittance down. We want to give back to families and the community through focused assistance. Finally, we want to facilitate an increase in the most invaluable and precious gift a family has for each other – time with each other! Genesis Home Care’s mantra is simple:

Mr. Brian Greer, is born and raised in College Park, Ga. He has been serving his community nearly 20 years as a firefighter/paramedic.

Mr. Greer’s unique ability under immense stress to remain calm and perform literal life managing decisions as a paramedic, has readied him to

shoulder the responsibilities of managing the operations of Genesis. Inspired by religious faith he has always desired to help and assist others. A consent volunteer with his church and community activities Brian highlights what service to others looks like. Mr. Greer is pursing his BSN RN degree.

James H. McCreary

Mr. James H. McCreary, an U.S. Air Force veteran has a degree in business administration. He is particularly detailed driven.

Acute in business development, business administration, regulatory compliance and quality assurance. Mr. McCreary was a College Park firefighter/paramedic, is a forward thinker offering a career of impressive success in Public Safety, Occupational Safety, and experience in hospital emergency rooms as a clinician.

He is analytical with a willingness to view problems and recommend solutions from multiple perspectives.
